Winter depression? Use True-Light.  

More than 3% of the population between the ages of 18 and 65 reported severe depression due to a lack of light during the winter period. People with winter depression, sleeping problems, melancholy or autumn fatigue improve enormously by installing True-Light full-spectrum daylight lamps in their living and/or workspace. We have had good results with True-Light lamps that give a minimum of 7000 lumens where you spend the most time. To get the best return, hang it where you spend the most hours each day. Daylight activates the synthesis of vitamin D, which is necessary for the absorption of calcium and minerals into the blood. It stimulates the production of melatonin which in turn ensures the production of seretonin. The sleep rhythm is brought back into balance and you get more energy.
